Beach Bummin'

I love you all to smitherines! You're all so amazing---- keep it up!

Here's a little bit of detail of what's going on here in our new area. We are living with English Sisters and live in the upstairs separate apartment of a member's home. They're great! All the members here are throwing themselves at us and giving us referrals like crazy! :) Our area is GIGANTIC!!!! We can't even cover all of it in our car with our limited miles.... not exactly sure what the range of our area is- just know that it covers all of the eastern coast part of the mission..... we're literally right by the ocean area- crazy! Yep.... and it's bone chilling cold! :) Gotta love it! Hey, good side of it- we can actually go to the beach because it is so cold- when it's warm we can't!

Both Hermana L and I got shotgunned out here to this area and we're opening it up. We don't have an Area Book or anything, so we're starting on a completely blank canvas. We've been doing detective work and scoping out all of the Spanish stores, laundry mats, apartment complexes, trailer parks, and anywhere else where else the Spirit may lead us. Our nightime hours are spent eating lots of lessons with members and putting on the pounds :) as well as seeking for referrals. The Branch here is amazing! The people are so friendly! They have Elders here, but the Branch hasn't had sisters for over 4 years and have been praying ever since to have some come back. When they saw us walk in the door on Sunday they all about had a heart attack- I've never seen happier people! They truly want us here and want to work hard with us! We're so excited!
